Mott MacDonald succeeds again in Sunday Times Top 20 Best Big Companies
Mott MacDonald was judged to be the fifth best big company to work for in the 2009 Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For in the UK Survey. This is the third year running that we have been in the top 20, improving our position year by year. Every year the competition becomes stiffer as more companies enter the Survey which has been described as being the employers’ Oscars. It marks the continuing success of Mott MacDonald’s commitment to its employees.

Mott MacDonald was compared with other major organisations with over 5000 employees across all market sectors – public, financial, travel, retail and manufacturing – as well as its peers in professional services. The process, managed by independent researchers Best Companies, involved employees being asked for their views on working at Mott MacDonald. In addition, the company’s employment policies, procedures and critical performance statistics were evaluated to rate the company in terms of performance, opportunities and work-life balance.
Mott MacDonald was also accredited as being an ‘outstanding’ company in the Best Companies Accreditation scheme.
The Awards were announced at a gala celebration held at Battersea Evolution at Battersea Park, London on 26 February 2009. The results were published in The Sunday Times on 8 March.
